In 14 years China will in the global photovoltaic market throne

Research agency IHS released a report on the 2nd expected that China will surpass Europe this year, becoming the worlds largest solar energy market.
IHS said that Chinas solar panel installation this year, the amount of material will reach 13GW, accounting for about 28% of the world, higher than 2013 10GW; and Europe in 2014 will be expected to reduce the installed capacity of 9.7GW, since 2011 record 19GW record after continuous Three years of decline; Japan this year, the installed volume will reach 9GW, higher than last years 6.3GW. The overall global installed volume increased by more than 20% to 46GW.
IHS pointed out that although the European government support for the PV industry continued to decline, but other regions continue to improve the conditions, so the global market will continue to grow. In particular, Chinas active development of green energy will boost global demand. In addition, IHSs long-term outlook for global PV installations remains broad, with an annual growth rate of at least 10% over the next five years, with total installed capacity expected to exceed 400GW by the end of 2018. According to the European Photovoltaic Industry Association (EPIA) data, in 2012 the global solar power installed capacity of 102GW.
Insiders pointed out that the study further shows that the global demand for solar energy products are moving from Europe to Asia. The European government has reduced subsidies for renewable energy, while Asias spending on solar energy has increased significantly.
